My art deco inspired illustration was a collaboration with furniture designer Will Acland and featured on the award winning 'Cunard' tambour door media cabinet. 

I designed the marquetry, this had to be carefully considered: the tones and colour palette of the illustration were to be transformed into wood and I had to keep this in mind. Seeing my illustration transformed into marquetry was a whole new experience.

The tambour door is made up of 200 strips of wood, onto which he marquetry was laid, the tambour door allows the image to be moved seamlessly around the cabinet.
